Question Difference between the 'Factory' and 'Version-specific' repo

What is the difference between the 'Factory' and 'Version- specific' repos ?
For example, on KDE Repo's Page (KDE/Repositories - openSUSE) page, what would be difference between:
    KDE Core Packages-Version Factory
    (Index of /repositories/KDE:/KDE3/openSUSE_Factory) , and
    KDE Core Packages-Version 11.1
    (Index of /repositories/KDE:/KDE3/openSUSE_11.1)

We have releases and the factory version. Read about it:
    http://en.opensuse.org/Released_Version
    http://en.opensuse.org/Factory

The different build service repositories are built against the version
designated in the path and should be used with the correct version.

Factory includes the latest updates, not necessarily from an official release, some of which may not be completely stable.
