    Default Totem and Mplayer

    Hi,

I have installed in opensuse 11.1 the mplayer and the multimedia codecs from the opensuse multimedia community. However when I try see some videos with mplayer appear the following error:

"[AO_ALSA] Unable to find simple control 'PCM',O".
When Itry open the video with Totem:

    "Search for suitable codec?

The required software to play this file is not installed. You need to install suitable codecs to play media files. Do you want to search for a codec that supports the selected file?"

The video file is a "wmv" format.

Anyone knows how solve this problem?

    thanks!

I have installed in opensuse 11.1 the mplayer and the multimedia codecs from the opensuse multimedia community.

because of rights of mplayer !!!
last 3-4 mounts in suse distibutions there a mes (or worst)
working for free is not igual to make a mes for free!!!!
with the same reason this programer can write
"you are blond - you can't see this movie"

go to mplayer home page, download mplayer,
and all aplications based on mplayer will work.
