Does any use gpg on 11.1? My private and public key pair was working fine and it sudden stop working with error “bad passphrase” in kmail. I deleted old one and try to recreate a new key pair and got “gpg: problem with the agent: No pinentry
gpg: Key generation canceled”
I googled the error message and it seems like gpg-agent’s problem. Unfortunatly I could figure out how to fix it.
If you guys faced the same problem, pls share the solution or give me some clue.
I have a coworker who uses it and obviously I use it within Thunderbird
for posting (Enigmail add-on). Care to post the steps you are taking to
generate your keys? I guess you’re using kmail but can you post the
steps you used to configure it to work? I have never used it myself but
if you have them it may help somebody with that experience either
correct something in your procedure or possibly duplicate the issue.
Good luck.
