I installed Blender on my Suse 11 installation and it required Python 2.5 which I installed but now the system wont boot to a Gnome login, just goes to a basic Suse login and then does nothing?
I think that Suse 11 may have had a later version of Python shipped with it - if so is there any way in which I can remove the 2.5 and install the default Python from the CD to get the system bootable again.
I could re-install on the system partition but it means putting all the software back on again.
Does anyone know a way to do it from the rescue prompt.
