Coupling of Nokia phone

I cannot couple my Nokia 6230i. In principle bluetooth (at level 4.19, OpenSuse 11.1) seems to work because I get asked to enter a passkey after starting xgnokii. However, the passkey-agent program is NOT on my system (and it seems it never was after installation!). Is there a hope that the bluez-stack will be updated soon - including the passkey-agent? Regards H. Stoellinger

Hi
What happens if you try the sdptool?

hcitool scan
(to get the mac address}
sdptool browse [mac address from above]

Hello, thanks for bothering to post…
Again, after starting xgnokii, I get asked to enter a passkey at the mobile phone. Then that key gets rejected.
Entering gnokii --config /etc/gnokiirc --monitor
leads to the following output:
The “funny smiley” in the port address actually is “d2”.

I am still trying to get my Nokia 6230i to couple with my Opensuse 11.1 system (before I give up and revert to M$!). The gnokii people told me that the coupling problem is in KDE’s court. Isn’t there ANYBODY out there who could help?

Sorry to say – but after starting KBlueTooth4 everything (except German diacritic characters transmitted from mobile phone) works.:open_mouth:
