Default Install KDE 4.2 without internet

I want to try KDE 4.2 but I don`t have internet at home, I have downloaded the openSUSE KDE 4.2 live cd, is it possible to install KDE 4.2 from this CD in my current openSUSE 11.1 installation?, if yes, How?, I used the official openSUSE 11.1 32 bit DVD to install my system, I don`t have KDE 4.1 installed, only the KDE 3.5 desktop is installed.

    Thanks.

don't hold me to this, since i've never done it before myself, but i think that you just start the installer from the live disc and there is an upgrade option.

if not, it might be possible to do this through yast's software module.

ya know, i'm actually trying to do this myself with the kde four live cd. i have a computer without internet access that has opensuse 11.1/kde 4.1.x that i would like to upgrade to kde 4.2 with the kde four live cd, but i can't figure out how.

turns out there isn't an update option with the live disc, at least that i can find.

i figured that i had to add the cd as an "add-on product" with yast. it has the option of selecting a cd or dvd among other things, but it would not "accept" my cd, mounted or not. i know the cd burned correctly cuz i verified it with k3b after it was burned. so i don't know why yast won't accept the cd.

I tried that too and didn`t work, I added the cd as an add-on cd and nothing.
