    Default YaST close after update

    Hi,

when I used openSUSE 11.0 and after an update/software's installation YaST asked if I want to install other software.
Now, with 11.1, when the installation is finished, YaST close immediatly.

Is it a bug or something like that ?

    Thanks

Oooh very nice, thanks for sharing! I didn't know someone provided a solution for it, many have been looking for one.

To the others that want it back,
    1. Installing the update
      1. Start up YaST software management
      2. Configuration (menubar)
      3. Repositories (menu option)
      4. add (button)
      5. next (button)
        • Repository name: YaST autoclose fix
        • Url:
          Code:
          http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home://lslezak/openSUSE_11.1/
      6. next
      7. ok (button)
      8. import (button)
      9. Set the filter in the dropdown box on the topleft to "Repositories" and select YaST autoclose fix
      10. Rightclick on any of the list-items on the right and select "All in this list" > "Update if newer version is available"
      11. Accept (button)
    2. Configuring the behaviour
      1. Start up YaST Control Center
      2. Select System on the left
      3. Click /etc/sysconfig Editor on the right
      4. Unfold the following options:
        1. System
        2. YaST2
        3. GUI
      5. Select PKGMGR_ACTION_AT_EXIT
      6. Pick one of the options,
        • close
close the package manager immediately (the default value, the same
          behavior as in final 11.1)
        • restart
restart the package manager immediately, install/remove more
          packages
        • summary
display the new installation summary dialog, pressing [Finish] loses the package manger, pressing [Back] goes back to the package manager (install/remove more packages). This is similar to the old "Install more packages?" popup in 11.0 but there are details about the installation which just has finished.
      7. ok (button)
      8. ok (button in popup window)

And may I request a sticky till this is available by default in 11.1 or till 11.2 hits?

Not quite sure how to thank the author can't find an email address.
