    Cool Is there an easy way to enable full path in konsole?

    I want to have normal path access under my standard account, is there an easy "system wide" way of doing this?

    I can see all kind of "profile" stuff in /etc, but don't understand it. All I want is to have access to programmes in /bin, /sbin, /usr/sbin etc'.

    PS. No "religious" replies or lectures please, a simple answer to the question is all I am looking for .

    Hi
    Add it to your user ~/.profile or ~/.bashrc check what's there first
    using either of;
    Code:
    echo $PATH
    or
    env
    Then add as applicable to the above;
    Code:
    PATH=$PATH:/usr/sbin:/sbin
    <rant>
    {snipped}
    </rant>
