Openoffice doesn't recognize files

I’m using Opensuse 11.1, Gnome. Openoffice doesn’t recognize the file extensions. It opens with a filter from which you may choose the right application.

DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO GET RID OF IT?

Check if the openoffice_org-filters package is installed.

Yes it is installed. And the opitonal one too.
