Question Problems install NX Manager from NoMachine

    Hello All,

I'm having a spot of bother getting the NX Manager from NoMachine to work properly with Apache2.

    I followed the instructions here:

    NoMachine NX - Documentation

I'm using a clean install of OpenSUSE 10.3 with an install of Apache2 via YaST. Despite following the instructions, when I come to load up the management page at http://localhost/nxmanager - I am given the following:

...Since I'm pretty much a novice to Linux, I wouldn't be surprised if I've missed something from the Apache installation that is required to load up the manager.

    Your help is much appreciated!

    Regards,

    Paul.

    Hi
Have you configured the NX Server Manager to use the apache user name
    and group?

    Hello,

Thanks for your reply. I did take a look at those, though I wasn't sure what the details were for OpenSUSE - I certainly didn't specify a user or group on install of Apache.

At the moment, they're set to 'nobody' and 'nogroup' - defaults.

    Thanks,

    Paul.

    Hi
Have a look at the setting in your apache2.conf file, the user name and
group set there need to be the same in the nx server config.

    Hello,

I managed to find the .conf file for apache that contained the user and group names. Popped them into NX and away we go!

    Many thanks for your help.

    Best Wishes,

    Paul.
