This happens often with a kernel update. Typically its best to be prepared in advance, with the new wireless driver handy, and then install it at the time.

The problem here is the wireless driver likely includes proprietary software that is not opensource free, and hence it goes against the philosophy of openSUSE. Which means the driver is not included when there is a kernel update, and hence the wireless is not automatically setup after a kernel install.

The 3rd party community, with various volunteers (like many of us on this forum) package drivers to make up for this openSUSE approach.

So you can fix this wireless problem.

We need to know what wireless device you have ... Note we have a wireless subforum for these sorts of questions:
    Wireless - openSUSE Forums

If you read the stickie in that subforum you will see we have organized it such that you can read the stickie to see the sort of information we would like you to provide so we can help you. Welcome - openSUSE Forums
