Thread: very big letters in OS 11.

    Default very big letters in OS 11.

    Hi there !

    I just installed opensuse 11 cause of problems with dualhead under ubuntu. Im going to love suse

    But i have a question:

    why are theese system letters so big and how could i resize them to 12px or 14 px ?

    i added this screen:



    Do you see the differences ?
    Im on 1280x1024 resolution an the letters i currently write in here are 12px in height.

    Please tell me how i can decrease the height of this "system-font-letters"

    I take you mean big letters in Firefox. Go to tools and changed the font size in options.

    furor, translate yourself the following into deutsch

    1) Go to "Appearance Preferences" -> "Fonts" (IMAGE)

    2) Click "Details"

    3) Decrease the "Dot Per Inch" (dpi) value (IMAGE)

    Welcome to openSUSE, I hope you enjoy it as much as the rest of us, and don't worry about your english, it is a lot better than some people for whom english is their only language
