    Default Video player recommended for KDE 3.x?

    Hi,
    I use OpenSuse 11.0 64bits with KDE 3.x
    Which video player (for .wmv and all kind of videos) do you recommend me?
    I do not like the default one, kaffeine.

    Thanks a lot.

    mplayer comes to mind,but,my favourite is xine. Once all the codecs are installed,it will play all media formats

    I do not like Kaffeine because it does not download the codecs automaticaly, it just shows me an error message.
    Does anybody know how to install the codecs for kaffeine?
    Thanks

    Hi
    I use smplayer (frontend to mplayer).

    For restricted formats look here;

    I would use VLC as it downloads all the codecs you need
