Wine 1.1.7 and EAC (Exact Audio Copy) not working?

Just upgraded Wine from 1.1.6 to 1.1.7-2 on openSUSE 11, and now EAC (0.99pb4) has stopped working.

EAC starts up fine, but the mouse-pointer disappears when it’s over the window. The pointer only shows up over the titelbar. So I’m able to click the close button, and then get a “EAC not responding” message.

I’ve tried uninstalling/reinstalling EAC to no avail.

I also run Mp3tag and WebSite-Watcher in Wine, and they work as usual.

Anybody else having trouble with EAC and the new version of Wine?

I’m no Zypper/Yast expert, but is it possible to revert back to 1.1.6?

Hi, I also have similar problems when upgrading wine to newer versions, but with different programs. As far the best way I found is to downgrade to your previous of wine. As root user do rpm -e wine. This will erase current wine package. Then download you previous version in rpm package and again as root user do rpm -i filename. You can also try report your problem on bugzilla Bugzilla Main Page, they may be able to help you. Hope this helps

Downgraded to 1.1.16, and EAC works again.
