Thread: Cant use Dolphin cant see my folders

Default Cant use Dolphin cant see my folders

When I click on my home directory, the tiny dolphin icon pops up, bounces for a bit then just disappears. I can't get to any files or drives because of this issue. I am using opensuse 11. Please tell me if you need any further information or logs and I will do the best I can to get them. I can perform all other functions, burn DVDs play music read email, but anything that requires dolphin just wont work.

    Thanks
    Jaime

I have scanned the forums and tried renaming the .kde folder to .kde.old this did not help

I have tried to run a repair from the original install cd
    also.

does anyone think upgrading would help?

    Hi
If your running KDE 4.0.x, there are a lot of issues with KDE4 off the
dvd install, I suggest you have a look here and upgrade to 4.1

    KDE4

If not, consider dropping back to KDE3 for a more stable desktop.

Thank You! That was so simple, one click fix. Thanks again.
No reboot needed everything works great.
