Default Virtual box error (vboxdrv not found)

I am using VB 1.5 and Opensuse 10.3.
I installed Virtual box by selecting that package during Os installation time.
After setting up the client, while starting it up, I get this :
"VirtualBox kernel driver not installed. The vboxdrv kernel module was either not loaded or /dev/vboxdrv was not created for some reason. Re-setup the kernel module by executing '/etc/init.d/vboxdrv setup' as root.
    VBox status code: -1908 (VERR_VM_DRIVER_NOT_INSTALLED)."

On trying to run /etc/init.d/vboxdrv setup, I get a file not found error; I do not have the vboxdrv file in that path. I have checked Yast and the virtualbox kmp (which has the kernel module) package is installed.
    Any suggestions?
    (Not keen to download VB2).
