Is there any tool in OpenSUSE11similar to apt-get for Debian

Hi

I wanted to have a command line tool like apt-get in Debian.
So that it resolves package dependencies itself.

zypper, yast, rug… a few exist. For opensuse 11 I think ‘zypper’ is
preferred. I usually use Yast myself:

yast -i <packageName>

Good luck.

I tried yast -i links2, but its not available.
May be I need to add some repositories…

Hi
Try searching with zypper;

zypper se links
zypper if links

If your happy with the above results, then;

sudo zypper in links
