Default No kernel message for the wireless card.

Hello guys,I installed opensuse11.0 on my system today and i am having problem in getting the wireless started.I am a linux newbie and i read Larry's post on how to resolve the wireless issue. This is what i have done

    1) When i start Yast i get this message.

    Marvell Ethernet controller Not Configured.

    2)/sbin/lspci

02:00.0 Ethernet controller: Marvell Technology Group Ltd. Device 2a08 (rev 03)

    3)/sbin/lspci -n

    02:00.0 0200: 11ab:2a08 (rev 03)

    4)dmesg | less

    eth0: RTL8101e at 0xf8e30000, 00:e0:b8:e5:62:7b, XID 34200000 IRQ 219

But here i did not find any information about the wireless card , nor did i see any message related to firmware. So i tried this

    5)dmesg | grep Ma

Machine check exception polling timer started.
Marking TSC unstable due to: TSC halts in idle.

---->Still no info i am wondering why cant i find a message from the kernel.

Please help me out on how to solve this issue. And also suggest me on what to study in order to learn linux.

First of all, the Marvell Ethernet controller is for your wired
system, not wireless. No driver is loaded for it because a Marvell
device with the PCI ID of 2a08 is not supported, even in the latest
    kernel (2.6.27-rc8).

We still need to know what your wireless device. Please post the full
output of /sbin/lspci, and 'lsusb'. The latter one is needed because
your device may be connected through the USB system. If you get a
"command not found", you need to install the usb tools package.

If you have a Windows driver, you can use ndiswrapper.

Other posters have gotten advice on what USB devices will work for
Linux. You should look at those threads.

Read the stickies, lots of good advice there. Also, it would be better starting your own topic, rather than tagging on the end of someone else's. You will get more specific advice
