    Default hoe to reset java config ?

    how can i reset java configuration to the way it was when installed afresh ?

    somehow i messed up and some java apps crash ,like Personal brain and in its log it says

    java.ext.dirs=/usr/lib/ext

    though there is no such directory.

    and I am sure its Java problem and somehow it has occurred because I played with removing and adding fonts as root.

    i tried everything : removing and reinstalling java and all the fonts but nothing helped can someone tel me how to reset java conf or where to find them ?

    A couple of perhaps useful commands:

    # update-alternatives --config java
    # update-alternatives --config javac

    i just said
    update-alternatives --config java

    There is only 1 program which provides java
    (/usr/lib/jvm/jre-1.6.0-sun/bin/java). Nothing to configure.
