Default New software update Error help!

    Okay,
    Hear is my issue
    Suse 11 kernel 2.6.25.5-1.1-default

When I go to update the software via update software icon Red triangle I get the following error message.
kdesu(9046)kdesu{kdelibs} blah blah blah no reply from daemon.

I also noticed the same issue someone else was having. The solution was to run the following as root zypper ref which I did still same issue as above.

    Please assist.

The error message you describe isn't very meaningful, because of the 'blah blah blah' or did you get a stack-trace?

Try the following command in a terminal:

    'sudo zypper refresh'

If you get an error message you are advised to copy and paste in into this forum so people can help you. An error involving zypper may have the following causes:

    1. You don't run 'zypper' under root account.
    Solution: use 'sudo zypper ref'

    2. Your rpm database might have been damaged.
    Solution: use 'sudo rpmdb --rebuilddb'

The error message is very long and goes on and on.
Yes you are correct about the Blah blah blah thing.

I did a screen shot of it but can't seem to find how I can attach the grab to the post.
Any help as to how to do that would be great!
I will update the post with a more informative info.

    Thanks

    No such luck
Please see below for proper error message.

    kdesu(3524)/kdesu (kdelibs) KDESu::KDEsuClient::command: [ /usr/src/packages/BUILD/kdelibs-4.0.4/kdesu/client.cpp : 196 ] no reply from daemon

Still same problem after I ran the above commands.
Did the refresh then tried update, same error, then did the rebuild same error.
    Any help is greatly appriciated.

    Thanks
    Jeff
