Default Result of the "./configure". Please help me

After I issued the "./configure" command for my package, the result was:

    checking for gcc... gcc
checking for C compiler default output file name... a.out
checking whether the C compiler works... yes
checking whether we are cross compiling... no
    checking for suffix of executables...
checking for suffix of object files... o
checking whether we are using the GNU C compiler... yes
checking whether gcc accepts -g... yes
checking for gcc option to accept ANSI C... none needed
    checking for ranlib... ranlib
    checking for a BSD-compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c
checking how to run the C preprocessor... gcc -E
    checking for egrep... grep -E
checking for ANSI C header files... yes
checking for an ANSI C-conforming const... yes
    checking for inline... inline
checking whether time.h and sys/time.h may both be included... yes
checking whether gcc needs -traditional... no
    checking for current directory... /home/thanhhai/Desktop/processing/alsa-driver-1.0.14rc3-4.06x
    checking cross compile...
checking for directory with kernel source... /lib/modules/2.6.25.16-0.1-pae/source
checking for directory with kernel build... /lib/modules/2.6.25.16-0.1-pae/build
    checking for kernel linux/version.h... no
The file /lib/modules/2.6.25.16-0.1-pae/source/include/linux/version.h does not exist.
Please install the package with full kernel sources for your distribution
or use --with-kernel=dir option to specify another directory with kernel
    sources (default is /lib/modules/2.6.25.16-0.1-pae/source).

Please help me what I have to do. I am a Linux newbie. Thank you.

To get kernel sources and other needed stuff, startup the Yast software installer,
set the filter to 'patterns', choose 'base development' and let all that install,
and then go back and try the ./configure again.

    Hi
You need to install the kernel sources either via YaST or the cli (see
below). Now I general install the kernel-syms as well

    Code:
    sudo zypper in kernel-source kernel-syms
    --
    Cheers Malcolm (Linux Counter #276890)
    openSUSE 11.0 x86 Kernel 2.6.25.16-0.1-default

    GPU GeForce 6600 TE/6200 TE - Driver Version: 173.14.12

Thank you. I followed your guide. The problem was corrected now. However, there are some errors and warnings still existing. I will try my methods and come back later. Thank you.
