    Unhappy Problems compiling mscore

I've been trying to compile mscore-0.9.2 and it dies during "make release"
I have installed the C++/Tcl/Gnome Developer tools.
I've been using the README from mscore, I'm a complete newbie and very confused.

I typed tar -jxvf mscore-0.9.2.tar.bz2 into terminal and it unpacked it happily, was most surprised!

then changed the directory to mscore, and put make release.
this is the error message I got

    Star@linux-26e2:~/mscore-0.9.2> make release
    if test ! -d build; \
    then \
    mkdir build; \
    cd build; \
    cmake -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=RELEASE \
    -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=""/usr/local"" \
    ../mscore; \
    make lupdate; \
    make lrelease; \
    make -j `grep -c processor /proc/cpuinfo`; \
    else \
echo "build directory does already exist, please remove first with 'make clean'"; \
    fi;
/bin/sh: line 4: cmake: command not found
    make[1]: Entering directory `/home/Star/mscore-0.9.2/build'
make[1]: *** No rule to make target `lupdate'. Stop.
    make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/Star/mscore-0.9.2/build'

make[1]: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop.
    make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/Star/mscore-0.9.2/build'
    make: *** [release] Error 2

tried make instead, and also make clean before make release again, but get the same error message over again.

I've only been using suse for 2 weeks, have already had to reinstall suse as changing my other partition to xp from vista murdered grub, it's 2 O'clock in the morning but yay it's the weekend! (so go easy on me for being a bit daft)

    sudo zypper in cmake

I managed to find the cmake in YaST as having internet issues (3USB modem works when it feels like it), and YaST more tolerant of dropped connections! Also had to install QT4 from Patterns.

Followed the readme instructions, wrote sudo make install, did lots, ended in this script. Does that mean it's installed? I can't find it anywhere!

    -- Installing: /usr/local/share/mscore-0.9/man/pic/noteentry1.png
    -- Installing: /usr/local/share/mscore-0.9/man/pic/hairpin3.png
    -- Installing: /usr/local/share/mscore-0.9/man/pic/tuplet3.png
    make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/Star/mscore-0.9.2/build'
    Star@linux-26e2:~/mscore-0.9.2>

Is there something I have missed out, or just being daft not being able to find where it's installed?

Thanks so much for your help x
