Thread: mysterious lines..

  1. #1

    Default mysterious lines..

I have installed suse 11 on a toshiba laptop with amd turion64 X2 at 1900MHz, 2GB RAM, and an ATi Radeon X1200 graphic card..

When i move through the KDE i see mysterious lines, over the menus, or icons, or in the browser when i scroll down a page etc.. Is it some effect of the enviroment that i can disable? It seems not working well..

Did you install the ATI proprietary driver? If so, there is a line you can add to your xorg.conf file to get rid of them, but I would just get rid of the ATI driver.
