    Default lineak xosd problems

    Hi,

Everything seems to work fine except for 2 issues with XOSD:
    1. There is no OSD after computer start until I manually restart Lineakd (from KlineakConfig). It then works until shutdown. All the other lineak functions working fine all the time. XOSD is selected in the configuration file.
    2. The OSD volume bar only changes between 100% and approx 95% although the actual volume (and the Kmix reading) goes between 100% and 0%.

I'm running openSUSE 11.0 x64 and using the lineak packages coming with the distribution:
    lineakd 0.9-175.1
    lineak_defaultplugin 0.9-175.1
    lineak_xosdplugin 0.9-197.1
    lineak_kde 0.9-202.1
    lineakconfig 0.4.1b-198.1

    Some system specs:
Processor (CPU): Dual Core AMD Opteron(tm) Processor 185
    Total memory (RAM): 2.0 GB
    OS: Linux 2.6.25.11-0.1-default x86_64
    System: openSUSE 11.0 (x86_64)
    KDE: 3.5.9 "release 49.1
    2 x nVidia GeForce 7900 GT/GTO in SLI
    Audigy 2 sound card
    Memorex 2750 keyboard
AverMedia TV Studio card (as "AverTV98") with remote

On the same system I ran openSUSE 10.2 until recently and the OSD was working fine.

Exactly the same here. I was frustrated thinking that was doing something wrong. :-)

My config: OpenSUSE 11, Acer Aspire 3004 (notebook).

I got config for all hotkeys with custom acerhk.conf, custom .conf for hotkeys-setup, setkeycodes in boot.local, plus lineak...

Thumbs up Re: lineak xosd problems

    Solved here:
    audigy 2 + RM-1000W + kmix vol OSD - openSUSE Forums
The above deals with OpenSUSE 11.1 but it should solve the problems described in the post here.
