Default Xen causing SuperKaramba to bug....

Since I installed Xen for virtualization, I can't get any transparency. Superkaramba says to enable desktop effects but they are enabled. Trasnparency is enabled. Also, how can I make the kicker(taskbar) transparent? I run KDE 4.1
