    Default Skype Webcam problem

Ok so I've got a cheap webcam, (0c45:602c Microdia Clas Ohlson TWC-30XOP WebCam) it shows up fine and displays a fine picture in Kopete (KDE3) but under skype and kdetv it shows a solid green block and some fuzzy stuff below. I tried installing the one-click-install webcam drivers from HCL/Web Cameras - openSUSE. Still no luck. uname -a
    Linux linux-yfzd 2.6.25.11-0.1-default #1 SMP 2008-07-13 20:48:28 +0200 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Why does it work in Kopete and not skype or even kdetv?

It's because Skype and Kopete use different functions to manage video. There is plenty of discussion, and some possible solutions over in the Skype for Linux discussion forum. Lots of people have trouble with video in Skype.
