System Settings

I am dieing to get rid of the infernal bouncing cursor. In KDE 4 where do I find System Settings or KControl?

Or has this config item been moved elsewhere?

Simon

on the first page of the kde menu → configure desktop, somewhere there is a setting to enable or disable application launchg feedback… i think … :-s

Thanks very much.

Rather new to linux and very new to KDE (used gnome before)… so:

Another quick one if I can… If I want to use an older version of KDE and stop using v4 do I need to reinstall or is there an easier way?

TIA,
Simon

YaST - software management. select patterns from the top-left drop-down menu, then scroll down to kde, select & accept & away you go. once installed, select it from the sessions menu at the log-in screen

add the kde3.4.9 repositories (if they aren’t added allready) through yast -> software -> add-on products. you can then install it by opening install software from yast. use the patterns filter (drop down menu filter) and select the kde3 desktop thingies, you can leave 4 installed. when you log in you can change the session to kde3

kind regards,
