Question Failed to install ramlog in openSUSE 11.0

Ramlog seems to be a useful idea. It can help you in saving your laptop battery. Ramlog copies all system logs to RAM and copies them to disk each time your system is shutting down.
Here is the homepage of the project and here you can learn how to install ramlog. Unfortunatelly, you cannot find any installation procedure for openSUSE.

I tried to install it in my openSUSE 11. It looks like no ramdisk is created.
    #df -h /var/log /var/log.hdd
df: '/var/log.hdd: No such file or directory
I assume that it has something to do with tha last stage of installation procedure. It looks like this (for Fedora):
    # chkconfig --add ramlog
    # chkconfig ramlog on
(I made sure that ramlog is on in Yast/System services)

Any ideas how to solve that?
    Thnx in advance.

How about trying to set up tpmfs rather then a ramdisk with grub?
