Hey there. I’m running OpenSuse 11.0 with KDE in an old PC, that has this old printer, a Xerox phaser 3310. It seems that the driver is missing, as I can’t get it to work. The driver isn’t in the list, either. So, where can I get the driver for this old printer? I really, really need it. And how do I do to install such driver?

If this wraps on email please use complete url.
There is a linux driver for your printer there. This is an offical Xerox
site. I do not use this model but I have used the Phaser 6120 driver from
here and it has worked on openSUSE 10.1, 10.3 and 11.0 with no problems.

I see people have all ready reponded.
If all fails - and supposing it’s a postscript printer - just extract the
*.ppd file from a Windows or Mac driver. Add it to Yast’s list of ppd’s and
you’re off…
