Default Is there Avafind alternative for Opensuse 10.3?

Hallo!I have been looking for a suitable file search software to search for files in all my computer partitions i.e. Windows and Linux partitions.I have found strigi to be inadequate as it cannot search Windows partitions.

Avafind is an excellent Windows file search software. Is there its equivalent for Linux? If so where can I download it?

Are the windows partitions mounted when strigi is indexing? If they aren't
mounted, nothing can read them... strigi, beagle, or avafind.

That'd be really cool if I just had to have the disks close to the computer
to have them indexed... wonder how you'd handle that... hey! don't walk too
close to the computer... it'll index your mp3 player! Watch out!
