Up-to-date vlc-beta packages for Suse 11

I’ve loaded the videolan repo but the vlc-beta packages are never up to date with the current nightlies. They haven’t updated them since July 29th and there’s some really bad bugs (can’t load subs without crashing). Anyone know a place where I can get the latest vlc-beta packages?

Bump
Anyone?

No, I don’t know. Ask why it isn’t updated at The VideoLAN Forums • Index page

Meanwhile… you have the spec file from the .src.rpm (1) and the latest snapshot (2) available… just rebuild it yourself.

(1) http://download.videolan.org/pub/videolan/vlc/SuSE/11.0/src/vlc-beta-0.9.0-2008062901.1.src.rpm
(2) Index of /build/source/latest

the latest beta CODE, that you can compile

DenverD (Linux Counter 282315) via NNTP, Thunderbird 2.0.0.14, KDE
3.5.7, SUSE Linux 10.3, 2.6.22.18-0.2-default #1 SMP i686 athlon

I know I can compile the latest VLC. The problem is that I am running Linux on a small 8GB hard drive and I don’t want to install any development packages for VLC and the myriad of other packages that it uses.

I will try talking on VLC forums.
