    Default cups-pdf on opensuse 11

    Hi,

Installed cups-pdf as per Printing to PDF HOWTO - openSUSE

And i can 'print' to pdf, however the documents which appear on the desktop are a single page in length and empty.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

I have the same issue in 64 bit Suse. I managed to get the printer to print a pdf to my home directory and it was 80kb but neither Evince nor Acrobat would not open it. I believe the driver has to be the color Post Script driver which I could not find.

Thumbs up Re: cups-pdf on opensuse 11

    Hi all,

I had the same problem... now I'm find the solution:

you mustn't provide the ppd, instead yuo must select Generic from manufacturers and then Generic CUPS-PDF Printer (en). Now everything work .

I've just updated the how-to: Printing to PDF HOWTO - openSUSE

    thanks,
    Daniele
