Default Dolphin is slow and sometimes hangs on my laptop

Ever since I updated to KDE 4.1 I have noticed that Dolphin is slow, it takes anywhere from 30 seconds - 5 minutes to open and trying to do any kind of file management task in it is a nightmare. I know its not just Dolphin because I also have KDE 4.1 installed on my desktop and on it Dolphin works like a dream. I top of it being slow on my laptop it also locks up and the only way I can close out of it is by killing it. I have been keeping my KDE 4.1 install up-to date with the factory repo hoping that this problem will go away with a update, but none yet anyone here having this problem or is it just me?

Here is what I get from running Dolphin from the command line, hopefully someone will be able to make heads or tails of it.

    Dophin output

Sorry about having to use pastebin, the output was to long to post in here. Its an upside for NNTP users though

To try and isolate the level at which this problem exists, I suggest:

using a gnome or kde3 login (if you have them?)
    go to your /home/*user*/.kde4
    and rename it to .kde4old

now login to a kde4 session - it will be like the very first time

if this solves the issue, the error is being caused by some user settings

You could have saved yourself typing by saying ~/.kde4 or /home/$USER/.kde4

After the 8th time of recreating my .kde4 directory Dolphin works correctly. Makes me wonder what was going wrong with "mv .kde4 .kde4.old"? Well with Dolphin working correctly it is time to rebuild my desktop.
