Thread: Evolution 2.22.1.1. Calendar too slow

  1. #1

Default Evolution 2.22.1.1. Calendar too slow

Evolution 2.22.1.1 with openSUSE 11.0 Gnome.

When trying to forward/backward the calendar month, it changes VERY slow. About 3 to 4 minutes to move from one month to the next.

Any suggestions to address this sluggishness?

    Thank you.

I run it (although under KDE 4, though I have run it under Gnome) and it is pretty much instantaneous going from month to month. What is your system (including memory, graphics card, etc), and is your calendar extremely full, or pretty empty?

    openSUSE 11.0 Intel Quad-Core @2.4ghz

    Thank you for the response.
    My system consists of:
    2.16 ghz Intel Dual Core
    220 gig HD
    5 gig swap space
    1 gig mem.
    Navida GeForce MX 440

Also, I would think that the calendar is about 30%-40% utilized.
