Question Evolution and Google calendar integration

    Hi all,

I'm trying to set up Evolution to integrate with google calendar but with no success. I try by doing the New->Calendar command, and then i select Google, fill up my username and it does connect, downloads stuff on my calendar, but it won't write to it.

When I create a new entry it's there until I close Evolution. Next time it's gone. So.. Evolution wrote nothing..

Anyone has any experiences with this? Successful ones?

    I appreciate any ideas..

    Thanx..

I use GCalDaemon (GCALDaemon - Project Home) to sync Kontact to my Google calendar. It has an installation guide for Evolution as well. I've used it for a month with great results.

Thumbs up Re: Evolution and Google calendar integration

It went well.. However, I grew tired of Evolution in a matter of days.. And when I say tired, I mean I didn't like it.. Soo.. I used Thunderbird until a few weeks ago when I installed the newest KDE4.

Now I am happily using Kontact with GCALDaemon. Works very well!
