Add Panel Problem

Hi

Foolishly, I deleted the main panel (bottom one) and now I can’t add it back :(. Every time I add a new panel, they keep appearing at the top. Is there any way around this or is this a bug?

Also, some of the icons can’t be arranged properly (i.e digital clock, which takes up three times it’s space and can’t be moved to the far right.

if you are not using kde4 ( don’t know if it works in kde4 ) press alt +f2,then,in the run box, type, kicker. see if that works

Andy

Sorry, should have mentioned that I’m running KDE 4.1. Btw, your suggestion loads the KDE3 panel.

Right-click on it, ‘Allow Panel to be Moved’ and then drag to the bottom.

Good luck.

I’m afraid that option isn’t available in 4.1 although I’m sure I saw this in 4.0.4 though.

Problem sorted :). I was able to drag the configuration window (not the panel) instead to make the panel appear at the bottom.
