    I want to install x-fi beta drivers to have ANY sound in suse 11.

    I'know those drivers are unstable but i also read that some people actually made them working.

    i'am newbie to suse but i've loved it and i would like it to be my primary profesional system, so it needs to be with sound.

    I'am usisg suse 11 64bit edition

    please help!

    make sure you have installed the
    gcc
    gcc gij
    gcc java
    gcc objc
    gcc objc c++
    gcc43
    gcc43 c++
    gcc43 gij
    gcc43 java
    gcc43 objc
    gcc43 objc c++
    libgcc43
    libgcc43-32bit
    libgcj43

    kernel-source
    alsa
    make
    pulse

    once you have done all of thatgo into the driver directory
    and type
    su
    make
    make install
    and thats it, your done
