I've been using madwifi and like it in opensuse so recently I reinstalled madwifi per the one click method from the opensuse wiki here.

After the most recent updates I found wireless wasn't working and I went back to my hand install of madwifi.

I thought if I used the official method to install that madwifi would get updated along with everything else-otherwise why use the official packages? Am I not understanding this somehow?
