Google Gadgets for OpenSUSE

I have found this repository in case that somebody cares >>>

ftp://ftp5.gwdg.de/pub/opensuse/repositories/home:/hfiguiere/openSUSE_11.0/

Essentially you need for Google Gadgets to download only two packages, “google-gadgets” and “google-gadgets-gtk” for GNOME or “google-gadgets-qt” for KDE

Unfortunatelly after installation you must create shortcuts in Application Browser with Alacarte menu editor or simply run it with Alt+F2 with command ggl-gtk or ggl-gtk -ns (without sidebar)

IMO it’s much better than Screenlets

Project page >>> google-gadgets-for-linux - Google Code

That’s pretty spiffy, I’ll have to check it out and see how well it integrates with KDE4.
