Thread: Slideshow for beginners?

    Default Slideshow for beginners?

Hey there. I was wondering if anyone has a slideshow to show beginners and new-to-linux the advantages and characteristics of the software. I'm in charge of migrating the OS of a small company, and I need to introduce them to Linux (they have been Windows users for a lifetime). So, any help with that? Slideshows about advantages, manuals, guides, and such. Thanks in advance.

There is probably a ton of information online but one benefit of a forum
is customized data. What are they doing now? With a little information
along these lines you can probably get better responses that will apply
to the customer more than any current slideshow so the data actually
apply to them and their needs.

    Good luck.

I really didn't get your post well... Any roads, they're a small company that only uses office software and Internet.

Are you looking for an already-made slideshow, with content that describes your transformation? If so, then you might be able to find something somewhere, but you should really be doing it. You know better than anyone else what their needs are, and the types of questions they are apt to ask. Or you should know, anyway.

Or are you looking for software to make a slideshow with?

Search inside www.novell.com; there are many presentations and guidelines for company transitions between OS's.

You have to look hard (i know those presentations are still there) because i downloaded many of them last year, and now i have forgotten the link which pointed them.
