1st of all my SUSE11 yast is not working. So alternatively i need a pack to do installation and uninstallation.
I heard about smart,not sure.
Is it complete alternative for yast.
Can some one highlighten it a bit and installation procedure as well.
I know about howto by oldcpu but there is some problems in that howto, while you installing.

For the software management part of Yast, yes.

I don’t use it with Opensuse 11 any more, since Yast/zypper work great now for me. Which problems do you have?
