Default ath_pci network drops at random

So I have this problem and have no idea what is happening, had opensuse 11 previously installed and did not have this problem with the same madwifi driver, same system except for the hardrive.

    madwifi-0.9.4.tar.gz
    Linux linux-u3tv 2.6.25.11-0.1-default #1 SMP 2008-07-13 20:48:28 +0200 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

check you power settings for the device. Could be if not used for a specifictime, it powers down

    Hay thanks:
I gave up and installed Ubuntu , Opensuse 11 has not been good on my system, Ubuntu seems to be working fine. I think it is problems with KDE4 as Opensuse has always been good "used it since like 4.0" to me before, but when the switch to KDE3 totally failed I had enough tinkering.
