In a way, 11.1 alpha is like an improvement to 11.0, so which is really more stable? I look forward to 11.1 with KDE 4.1 and stuff.

It's a shame that often the wrong people like to do it.

What could be wrong with enjoying the latest in open source software? It doesn't hurt anyone and the person can provide bug reports.

There's nothing wrong with it - it's just often that people who should not be testing do and their reports are not always very.. accurate.

Also they often tend to swamp support channels asking about alpha products which we may have no answers to (many times because the software itself is flawed), causing further grief to them (and us).

I suppose you're right about that. But then again the more "typical" people who can put a word in early on, the better it gets, assuming the people handeling the bug reports can stay on top of them.
