    Default rtl8187b x64

    hi all, i am running opensuse11 64bit version and i would like to run integrated wireless card realtek 8187b... it worked with 32bit version and ndiswrapper with modified winxp driver but on x64 i can get it..is there anything i can do to have wifi connection?

    This discussion should have been posted in network / wireless.

    Realtek does not have a 64-bit Windows driver for the 8187b. The open-source
    driver for Linux now works - I use it with x86_64, but you have to generate your
    own kernel and patch it. If you are willing/able to do that, I can provide the
    patch. Please PM me so that I get your E-mail address.
