proper way to upgrade openoffice

Hi all,

Well I moved to OpenSuse 10.3 on my new platform.

Although I am sticking with Firefox 2, I would like to upgrade to OO2.4 from OO2.3

What is the best way to do this?

Through Yast? or through downloading from OpenOffice site?

Sorry about the nOOb question, but I have never upgraded OO before.

Go into “add repositories” and add the Openoffice “community” repo.
Then do your update through yast2

This also gives you the Novell features which haven’t made it to the main tree yet.
