Default How to go back in after log-off ?

Hi. I accidentally logged off instead of shut down the other day. After I logged off, SUSE went into terminal mode (like command prompt). How can I go back into SUSE desktop ?

    Thanks

Just login with your username and password, then issue the command: startx.

That will start the X-Server and load your Desktop Environment.

Thanks. I think it is just amazing that there are so many LINUX supporters that helps ignorant souls like me to pick up Linux. I am determined to be as good in Linux as I am in windows :-)

    Many thanks from Sydney

Don't worry, learning as you go. Everyone started out in the same position at one time or another.

    Glad I could help!
