    Default Flock Browser

    Hi
I have just been reading a review of Flock 2 (beta) and it was given a very good review. I was wondering if anyone has tried it with Suse and is it any good?

    Thanks
    Sol

It is Firefox with things added on. It is designed to be a social web browser and tie in heavily with a lot of "Web 2.0" websites.

There isn't much of a Linux installer for Flock. I believe you just download a file to where ever you want to do dump it, and run the executable from there.

somewhere, in one of these fora there is a thread where i helped some
guy install Flock...i GUESS if you use the advanced search function of
the web forum you can search on "flock" in the subject line (or maybe
"Entire Post") and find that thread..

i loaded it here and it worked ok...just more bells and whistles than i
prefer...and as others have already mentioned it is 'just' a re-branded
firefox, as far as i can tell with hooks to try to _lock_ you into
aiming at certain sites (i GUESS those site which kick back money to the
    Flock "developers")..

I have tried flock 1.2 and beta 2.

    It is a good browser.

I personally don't need all the links and features they added.
