Sometimes keyboard dies after resume from suspend

SuSE11.0 on x86-64. Most of the time, suspend and resume works flawlessly, but occasionally, my keyboard dies after resume. Mouse works, but I can’t type anything. Only cure is reboot.

Is there a command I can use to re-initialize the keyboard, possibly creating a pm-util ‘hook’ which would get executed during resume?

Any help will be much appreciated.

Help us out a little… USB keyboard? PS/2? Different subsystems handle each.

If you were to unplug and replug the keyboard, does it return?
