    Hi everyone....
    Is there any guide that explains how i can enable cpu scaling??
    I have OpenSuse 11..Intel dual core....

    CPU scaling should work by default (as far as I know) and can be tuned by setting the desired powermanagement settings.

    Which DE are you using? Maybe others can give you a better indication.

    Not for scaling, but if you install the package powertop it will also give you an indication of power usage and possible settings to tweak.

    I'm using kde in opensuse 11.....Kpowersave doesnt give any chance to change the Cpu frequency which is always at max..
    I think this causes the cpu high temperatures which is my major problem (problem that didnt exist with opensuse 10.3).....
