    Default internet connection in wine application??

    hi
    i know that when i run internet explorer in wine (installed from wine-doors) i can surf internet.
    but when i rub remote desktop connection from wine it doesn't connect to the remote computer and gives me this meesage in terminal:
    fixme:winsock:WSALookupServiceNextW ((nil) 0x00000ff0 0x7d4ed688 0x1d2ba0) Stub!
    .has anyone done this before?
    i need windows version of remote desktop not krdc .

    please help me

    KRDC is a frontend for rdesktop. Just as tsclient.

    Try the rdesktop CLI tool. It is exactly the same as mstsc for windows, only no gui, but at least it will work and doesn't need any winsocks which mstsc is now looking for.

    thank you sooooooooooooooooooooo much.i got my anser indirectly from your answer that said "...is exactly the same..."
    because i wanted to share a folder like remote desktop connection in windows and i did a google on rdesktop and found this page
    Rock the Command Line: rdesktop
    that in its example it has shown how to connect a folder to windows box
